- The Tigers had four players score double digits in their setback to Cornell on Wednesday.
- Tobias Howard led the Tigers with 15 points and seven assists.
- Nakye Sanders and Jordan McNeil finished with 11 points each.
- Allen Betrand scored a career best 10 points.
- Towson scored a season best 15 fast break points.
- Four Tigers had at least six rebounds (Brian Fobbs & Dennis Tunstall -- 6 and Solomon Uyaelunmo & Nakye Sanders).
- Towson scored 30 bench points.
- The Tigers lead the CAA in rebounding margin (+6.3), opponent rebounding (31.4) and offensive rebounds (12.7).
- Howard has made at least three 3-pointers in a game seven times, including in four of Towson's last five games.
- During the recently completed homestand, Towson was led by Fobbs (14.0 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game), Howard (11.7 ppg., 45 percent on 3-point shooting) and Sanders (10.7, 5.0 rebounds).
- Dennis Tunstall ranks sixth in the CAA with 7.8 rpg. He's grabbed 10+ caroms four times.
A Look At James Madison
- James Madison ended a five-game losing streak by knocking off the College of Charleston, 69-58 last Saturday.
- Sophomore Darius Banks continued his run of stellar play to lead the Dukes, racking up 21 points in an efficient 7-of-12 shooting performance that saw him hit four of his five three-pointers. Banks added seven boards, three assists, two steals and a block.
- Three other players joined Banks in double figures, with senior Stuckey Mosley and sophomore Matt Lewis adding 13 points and sophomore Dwight Wilson notching his fourth double-double of the year with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
- Banks, who averages 13.4 points per game, led the Dukes in scoring for the fifth time this season, with JMU improving to 5-0 in those contests.
- Mosley leads JMU in scoring at 16.4 points per game. Lewis contributes 15.1 points per game. Mosley, Banks and Lewis have all made at least 25 3-pointers.
- The triumvirate of Mosley, Banks and Lewis have combined to make 107 3-pointers.
- Wilson is averaging 8.1 rebounds per game.
- JMU is 1-1 at home in CAA games.
- James Madison is 5-2 at home this season.

Tigers Featured On CAA Broadcast Package
- For the second consecutive season, 12 CAA men's basketball conference games will be televised by CBS Sports Digital on CollegeSportsLive.com.
- Towson University men's basketball will be featured twice on the schedule for its home contests on Jan. 24 against Northeastern and Feb. 28 versus William & Mary inside of SECU Arena.
- All 10 CAA teams will have at least two contests on the "Game of the Week" package, with Charleston, Hofstra, Northeastern and William and Mary making three appearances.
Perfection When It Comes to Graduation
- Towson has a perfect men's basketball graduation rate under head coach Pat Skerry.
- The Tigers are 21-for-21.
Towson In the Community
- Towson is the Division I national champion of the NCAA Team Works Helper Helper Competition for the Fall 2018 semester. Towson completed the most community service hours among all schools in the competition, including 75 different Division I departments and approximately 300 total programs across the country.
- The Towson men's basketball team has been active in the community since returning to campus in August. Members of the team spoke at Loch Raven Academy, participated in Towson West Elementary School's Back To School Night and the Autism Speaks Walk.
- In addition to the athletic and academic success, the Tigers ranked first nationally in Division I men's team sports for their community service activities in the 2017 NCAA Team Works Helper Helper Community Service Competition.
Coaches Powering Forward
- Autism Speaks Coaches Powering Forward will take place on the weekend of February 15-17, 2019.
- The Tigers host Drexel on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.
- The Towson women will host the College of Charleston on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m.
- Last season, more than 375 NCAA coaches participated by wearing an Autism Speaks blue puzzle piece lapel pin to help increase understanding and acceptance of people with autism.
- In total, more than 4,400 pins were worn by coaching staff, officials, broadcasters, and school teams.
- Autism currently affects one in every 59 children in the U.S and for most, is a lifelong condition.
CAA Tournament Tickets on Sale
- All-session ticket books for the 2019 CAA Men's Basketball Championship go on sale Thursday, January 10 through TicketMaster (1-800-745-3000), TicketMaster.com and the North Charleston Coliseum Advance Ticket office.
- The CAA's premier event returns to the Lowcountry on March 9-12, 2019 as the North Charleston (S.C.) Coliseum hosts nine games over four days, with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.
- Ticket books, which provide admission to all games of the tournament, can be purchased for as little as $80.
