PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Towson University women's tennis team fell in a battle to Buffalo at a neutral site on Saturday, 6-1.
The Tigers fall to 1-3 on the season while the Bulls move to 4-1.
How it Happened
- In doubles action, Alexa Martinez and Yevgeniya Shusterman took a 6-4 win over their opponents, followed by a win from Lucy Gloninger and Themis Haliou to seal the doubles win.
- Shusterman and Martinez both took their singles opponents to the edge finishing with scores of 5-7, 3-6 and 6-7, 4-6 respectively.
- In singles action the Bulls took all wins to secure the victory after tough matches from Shusterman and Martinez.

"This was a tough loss for us especially after winning the doubles point in such dramatic fashion," said head coach
Jamie Peterson. "We had a great opportunity and played well in spots in the singles, but not enough to win. We will build on this loss, clear our minds, and be ready to play tomorrow against Duquesne."
