From the Coach
"We had a tough weekend in Charleston," said head coach
Jamie Peterson. "We had a win in doubles against College of Charleston and were a little overwhelmed in singles. We came back in the afternoon and competed well against S.C. State, but we lost a doubles point we should have won.
Jessica Assenmacher and
Themis Haliou played great together, Themis played great and won straight sets. We fought hard and unfortunately lost the clinching match in 6-4 in the third. We saw a good chance of Jessica and
Sarah Pospischill winning their respective matches but they were stopped due to the match being clinched."
Looking Ahead
The Tigers return home to face Delaware State on Saturday, March 7 at the Pikesville location Coppermine Fitness center.
