Women’s Volleyball Remains on Pauses Through Regular Season

TOWSON, Md. -- Following positive COVID-19 tests within the Towson University women's volleyball program, the Tigers remain on pause for the remainder of the spring 2021 regular season.

With the extended pause, Towson will cancel its remaining regular season matches against the University of Delaware (March 26, March 28) and West Virginia University (March 30).

Towson is scheduled to compete in and host the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships at SECU Arena. Semifinals are scheduled for Friday, April 2 at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., with the Championship match slated for 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 3.

The Tigers are 4-0 this spring, sweeping Stony Brook (Feb. 20) and Delaware twice (March 5, March 7). Towson added a four-set win at Temple (Feb. 27) early in the season as well.
