Towson Athletics to Allow Fans for Remainder of Spring Contests

TOWSON, Md. -- With the most recent information from the Baltimore County Executive Order, Towson University will allow fans to attend home athletics contests at various venues for the remainder of the spring.

Capacity limits are set at 50 percent for each venue. Johnny Unitas ® Stadium (men's lacrosse) will allow up to 5,000 fans. Tiger Field (women's lacrosse) will allow up to 300 fans in the stadium. John B. Schuerholz Park (baseball) and the Tiger Softball Stadium (softball) will allow up to 200 fans per game.

Men's lacrosse single-game tickets for adults are priced at $10, while youth (5-17) and senior (65 and older) prices are set for $8 per ticket. Groups of 10 or more can get special discounts of $5 per ticket. Additionally, Towson University student tickets will be made available.

Women's lacrosse, baseball and softball will not be charging for entrance to games for the remainder of the spring.

Fans are encouraged to purchase men's lacrosse tickets prior to game day either online or on the phone to avoid long lines and adhere to physical distancing guidelines. Tickets will be sent electronically for easy entry on game day. 

Backpacks, small purses, diaper bags, etc. will be permitted at Johnny Unitas Stadium and are subject to search. However, any bags exceeding 22"12"x8" will NOT be permitted in the Stadium. Metal detector wands will be used at ALL entrance gates to Johnny Unitas Stadium. Please allow for extra time to enter prior to the game.

Your failure to comply with all safety directions and instructions may result in you being refused admittance to or being removed from our venues. 
  
Although the positivity rate on TU's campus has remained below 1 percent for the spring semester, and we continue to take preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the virus is highly contagious and Towson Athletics cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to the virus during your visit. Please understand that exposure to COVID-19 may be especially unsafe if you are at higher risk for severe complications. Knowing these risks, by attending a Towson Athletics event, you agree that you understand the risks of COVID-19 exposure, the potential consequences of exposure, and you voluntarily assume the risks of attendance.
