Softball Concludes Regular Season; Falls to Drexel

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University softball team concluded the regular season Sunday afternoon inside Tiger Softball Stadium hosting Drexel.

Drexel (28-10, 13-5 CAA) earned the sweep over Towson (14-17, 1-11 CAA) after winning 10-1.

Four Tigers had hits on the afternoon.

How it Happened
  • Reily Jo Swanson hit a four-run homer in the top of the first to give Drexel a 4-0 lead.
  • The Dragon added two more runs in the top of the second to take a 6-0 lead.
  • Towson got one run back in the bottom of the third on a single to center field by Gracyn Houmis.
  • Drexel scored four unanswered runs in the top of the fourth to conclude the game.
