TOWSON, Md. – With one of the top all-around performances of the season, D'Ago Hunter has been recognized as the FedEx Ground FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week, announced by Stats Perform on Monday.
 
Stats Perform is the leader in FCS football coverage, including the weekly top-25 poll and several postseason awards.  FCS conferences nominate players for weekly honors, with Hunter being nominated after earning Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Special Teams Player of the Week.
 
The redshirt senior racked by 334 all-purpose yards, 23 yards shy of the Towson single game record and the third-highest total in an FCS game this year.  This included a 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 74-yard punt return in Towson's victory at Monmouth on Saturday.
 
His 334 all-purpose yards included 181 kickoff yards and 90 punt return yards, averaging 36.2 yards a kickoff return and 45 yards a punt return.  His 271 combined return yards are the most in a game by an FCS player since 2015, per Stats Perform.
