TOWSON, Md. – In preparation for the Saturday's football game vs. Villanova, the Towson University athletics department will be selling military-style football replica jerseys starting on Nov. 3 and running through the 21
st.
These jerseys are replicas of the uniforms worn by Towson for last year's Military Appreciation Game as well as the upcoming Nov. 5 game.
The uniforms are gray with camouflage numbers. The uniform also features a Sergeant Major patch in honor of former Towson football player Wardell Turner, who passed in 2014 due to an IED attack in Afghanistan.
