TOWSON, Md. – The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) has announced the Towson University football league slate for the upcoming year, completing the full 2023 schedule.
In 2023, Towson will play five home games at Johnny Unitas® Stadium plus an eight-game conference schedule. All times for games will be announced at a later date.

The Tigers are getting ready for their first season under new head coach
Pete Shinnick. Shinnick previously led West Florida to the 2019 NCAA DII national title, the 2017 NCAA DII championship game and four combined playoff appearances in five seasons played.
Last year, Towson finished 6-5 overall, winning its final four games.
D'Ago Hunter was a STATS Perform All-American, Towson's first All-American since 2018, and the CAA Special Teams Player of the Year.
The year begins with a trip to College Park to challenge Big Ten opponent Maryland on Sept. 2.
Towson's home opener will also be the first CAA game of the year as the Tigers challenge Monmouth on Sept. 9.
The Tigers return to non-conference play the following week with the next chapter of The Battle for Greater Baltimore, playing at Morgan State on Sept. 16. The next week, the Tigers return to Unitas to host Norfolk State.
Towson resumes league play with a trip up north to play at New Hampshire, the 2022 CAA co-champion, on Sept. 30, then come back home to host UAlbany on Oct. 7.
After the bye week, Towson heads to Virginia to play the other 2022 CAA co-champion William & Mary on Oct. 21. The team wraps up the month of October with a home game vs. Delaware on the 28
th.
The Black & Gold will compete in two more road games for the regular season, playing at North Carolina A&T on Nov. 4 and at Villanova on Nov. 11. The regular season finale and Senior Day will be at home on Nov. 18 vs. Rhode Island.
