TOWSON, Md. – The honors keep rolling in for
Carter Runyon and
KJ Brooks as each were recognized in the 2023 STATS Perform FCS All-America teams, presented by Fedex Ground.
Runyon earned Second Team FCS All-America at tight end while Brooks is honored as FCS Freshman All-America at offensive line.
Each player repeats as honorees. Runyon was selected as an All-American by the
Associated Press and Phil Steele while Brooks is a Freshman All-American by each FCS Football Central and Phil Steele.
This is the second straight year where Towson has had honorees in each the STATS Perform All-America and Freshman All-America teams.
Runyon led Towson in all major receiving categories with 43 receptions, 549 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns.
Brooks was the team's starting right tackle helped a Towson squad which allowed just 15 sacks all season, the top mark in the Coastal Athletic Association.
