Robb Selected to Minority Opportunities Athletic Association Board of Directors

CLEVELAND – Towson University assistant athletic director of facilities and event management Davon Robb has been selected to serve as a member of the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) Board of Directors, announced by the MOAA on Thursday.

"It is truly a blessing to be selected to the MOAA board as I look forward to serving the amazing and talented individuals that work in the industry across the country," said Robb. "MOAA has been doing phenomenal work for over 20 years, and I'm excited to join the other board members as we continue to connect, promote and advocate minorities within the industry."

In its mission statement, the MOAA, formed in 2000, provides opportunities to exchange ideas, advocate increased participation and administrative opportunities for minorities in athletics.

Robb's term on the board of directors will begin in June 2023.  He is one of five administrators across the country to join the MOAA board of directors in this term.

Robb joined Towson Athletics in August 2019 and serves on the administrative staff and in the sport administrator for women's soccer.  A former football student-athlete at Virginia, Robb previously was the associate director of football and basketball operations for the Big Ten Conference after stops at Northwestern and Loyola Chicago.  He formerly was a board member of the Ethnic Concern Committee of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics Region.
