OCEANSIDE, N.Y. - The Towson University tennis team faced off against Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) foe Hofstra on Saturday, falling to the Pride 6-1.
Olivia Rothfeld picked up the lone win for Towson. She completed a comeback after dropping the first set 6-1, winning the following sets 6-4, 6-2.
The Tigers head to Florida to play West Georgia and Wisconsin Eau-Claire on March 22nd & 23rd.
"This one stings a bit as we lost a tough doubles point and three three-set matches. I'm proud of the ladies for competing extremely hard, but it wasn't our night. We look forward to getting back and improving our health and tennis over spring break," said head coach
Jamie Peterson.
