TOWSON, Md.- The Towson University Tigers tennis team welcomed the Loyola Greyhounds on Thursday afternoon for Sol Schwartz Save College Tennis Day. The Tigers defeated the Greyhounds 4-3 with Sarah Pospischill, Olivia Rothfeld, Sania Suchinsky and Lea Kosanovic picking up singles wins. Pospischill won her last three games after trailing 4-3 in the tiebreaking set to secure the win for the Tigers. The Black & Gold travel to Newark to play Delaware on Saturday at noon.  

"So proud of the girls' effort. They have been competing so hard for the past few weeks with nothing to show. But today, they were able to recover from a 3-1 deficit and win three close matches to pull it out. Major props to senior Sarah Pospischill for clinching the match after being down 4-3!!!!" said head coach Jamie Peterson.
