TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team hosted the James Madison Dukes at TU Arena on Saturday night. The Tigers (2-2) defeated the Dukes (2-2) 67-63 in front of over 3,000 fans.
 
Dylan Williamson led the Tigers with 22 points and five rebounds. Messiah Jones and Nendah Tarke each finished with nine points and five rebounds.

• Towson shot 43.6% from the floor tonight while holding James Madison to 39.7%.
• The Tigers went 9-of-21 (42.9%) from behind the arc, a season-high.

• The Tigers opened the game with a 13-8 run led by Dylan Williamson's eight points.
• Mekhi Lowery and Christian May each added a basket to extend Towson's lead to eight.
• James Madison responded with a 13-2 run to lead 25-22 midway through the first half.
• The Tigers countered with a 7-0 run sparked a Nendah Tarke three-pointer to lead by four.
• The Dukes finished the half on a 11-2 run to lead 36-31 at halftime.

• James Madison trailed by two with 46 seconds left, then Williamson hit his fourth triple of the night to give Towson a five-point lead with under 20 seconds left.
• The Dukes responded with a late three-pointer, but Williamson sealed the game with two free throws to give Towson a 67-63 win.
