TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University volleyball team faced Hofstra in the final match of the regular season on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers topped the Pride in a tight-four set match, as the losing team in each set scored at least 20 points.
Three Tigers finished with 10 or more kills:
Victoria Barrett (12),
Zyare Abdul-Rahim (11) and
Ylenia De Mango (10).
Erin Brothers led all players with eight blocks.

How it Happened
- Towson built an early 5-1 lead at the start of set one.

- The Tigers scored five of the next six points to extend the lead to 23-16.
- The Pride went on a run of four-straight points before back-to-back kills from Abdul-Rahim and Ava Nakai gave the Tigers set one.
- Set two started contentiously as 10-10 was the seventh tie to open the frame.
- The Tigers followed that with three-straight points to take a 13-10 lead.
- With the Tigers holding a 16-15 lead, the Pride strung three-straight points together to take a two-point lead.
- Towson tied the game with two straight points in response.

- Barrett climbed to eighth all-time in single season kills in program history as she now has 429 on the season. With 1112 kills over three seasons, she is now ninth all-time among career kill leaders.
- Brothers had a season-high eight blocks in the match, one short of tying her career high.
- Barrett picked up her sixth double-double of the season on her 12 kills and 14 digs.
