LETHBRIDGE, Alberta – The Towson University men's basketball team continued the Western Slam by taking on the Kennesaw State Owls. The Tigers (4-4) dropped the contest, 67-63, in overtime to the Owls (6-2) on Friday night.
Mekhi Lowery registered Towson's first double-double of the season with a career-high 14 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.
Dylan Williamson led the Tigers with 15 points and two steals.

- On the ensuing inbounds pass, the Tigers stole the ball and Rahdir Hicks hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 58 with 32 seconds remaining.
- The Owls had a chance to win, but missed a three-pointer with under a second left. Towson had a chance with 0.8 seconds left, but Dylan Williamson's three-pointer went off the rim as the game went into overtime.
- Towson scored five of the first eight points in overtime to have a two-point lead early.
- Kennesaw State tied the game on a Braedan Lue layup with 2:56 remaining.
