TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team wrapped up non-conference play against the Bryant Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers (5-8) defeated the Bulldogs (6-8) 70-65 at TU Arena.
Tyler Tejada led the Tigers with 18 points and five rebounds while
Dylan Williamson had 13 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Tomiwa Sulaiman finished with ten points and 11 rebounds off the bench to finish with his first double-double this season.

- The Tigers won the rebounding battle, 44-33.
- Towson had 23 points off the bench today compared to only seven for the Bulldogs.
How It Happened vs Bryant:
- Christian May scored six of Towson's first eight points on a pair of three-pointers as the teams were tied at eight early in the first half.
- Towson then went on a 14-3 run led by Tyler Tejada's seven points to lead 22-11 with 8:59 remaining.
- The teams went back-and-forth exchanging baskets, then Bryant went on a 7-0 run late in the first half to cut its deficit down to three.
- Dylan Williamson made a last second layup to give the Tigers a 33-28 lead heading into halftime.
- Bryant started the second half with a 20-8 run to take a seven-point lead.
- A Caleb Embeya layup sparked a 12-4 run for the Tigers to take a 53-52 advantage with 9:53 left.
- The Bulldogs took the lead with a three-pointer, but Mekhi Lowery converted a three-point play to regain the lead.
- Towson extended its lead to three after a May layup, but Bryant's Earl Timberlake scored four consecutive four points to take back a one-point advantage with 5:28 remaining.
- The Tigers countered with a 9-2 run, highlighted by an Embeya three-point play for a 67-61 lead.
- The Bulldogs cut their deficit down to two with 23 seconds left. Tejada extended the lead to 68-65 after knocking down a free throw.
- Bryant had a chance to tie the game, but missed a corner three-pointer. Tomiwa Sulaiman made two free throws to seal a 70-65 victory over Bryant.
