TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team hosted the Jacksonville Dolphins at Tiger Field on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers (5-5, 2-1 CAA) defeated the Dolphins (3-7, 1-0 ASUN) 11-6 led by Lindsey Marshall's career-high six goals.
 
Milana Zizakovic had two goals and two assists, while Katie Roszko added two assists and one goal.

• The Tigers finished with a season-high 13 caused turnovers.
• Towson accumulated a season-high 27 ground balls today, including 11 in the third quarter.
• The Tigers outshot the Dolphins 36-21.

How It Happened vs. Jacksonville:

• The Dolphins scored the game's first two goals to jump out to a 2-0 lead early, but Katie Roszko cut the lead in half with her 11th goal of the season.
• Jacksonville added a late goal to take a 3-1 lead into the second quarter.
• The Dolphins gained their largest lead of the day after extending their advantage to three goals.
• Milana Zizakovic cut the deficit to two after Delahaye found Zizakovic open on the right side of the fan who then blasted the shot near post.
• Zizakovic found the back of the net 43 seconds later to reduce Jacksonville's lead to one.
• Lindsey Marshall tied the score at four with her first goal of the game after Roszko found Marshall wide open in front of the net.

• Marshall completed her hat trick after Zizakovic found Marshall open in front of the crease who then fired a no-look shot past Pagano to give Towson a 6-4 edge.
• Halley Koras capped off a six-goal second quarter for the Tigers to give them a 7-4 lead going into halftime.
• In the third quarter, the teams went back-and-forth trading possessions until Marshall scored as time expired on a late counterattack to extend Towson's lead to four.
• Marshall scored her fifth goal of the game to start the fourth quarter after great ball movement left Marshall one-on-one with Tysdal.
• The Dolphins ended their 32-minute scoring drought with Mackenzie Boyle's second goal of the game.
• Hannah Delahaye scored her 13^th goal of the season after firing a shot past Tysdal to restore a five-goal lead.
• Marshall scored her career-high sixth goal after she cut between two defenders and blasted a shot near post to extend the lead.
• Jacksonville added a last second goal to give Towson an 11-6 victory.
