TOWSON, Md.- The Towson University tennis team hosted the George Mason Patriots on Friday afternoon. The Tigers were victorious over the Patriots 4-1 at the Tiger Tennis Complex. In singles action,
Mya Spencer, Olivia Rothfeld,
Lea Kosanovic and
Sania Suchinsky won their matches in straight sets. In doubles action,
Erin Gray and Rothfeld won their match at the No.3 flight. The Black & Gold will host CAA foe Delaware on Sunday, April 14th at the Tiger Tennis Complex at 1 p.m.
"For the second time in two matches we lost a very tough doubles point, but for the second time we were able to show that we compete hard under tough circumstances and win the match.
Chandré Boshoff led a monstrous comeback in the first set after being down 5-1. Very proud of how the team handled things, especially on senior day", said head coachÂ
