TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team hosted the Elon Phoenix on Senior Day. The Tigers (7-9, 4-4 CAA) fell to the Phoenix (9-7, 5-3 CAA) 12-11 in overtime at Tiger Field.
Milana Zizakovic led the Tigers with six points on four goals and two assists.

- Katie Roszko gave the Tigers a 9-8 lead to start the fourth quarter after she ran past her defender and blasted a shot near post that beat Walsh.
- The Phoenix evened the score on their next possession with 11:30 left in the fourth quarter.
- Zizakovic scored her fourth goal of the game to restore a one-goal lead for the Tigers.
- Elon responded less than two minutes later to tie the score for the seventh time.
- McCormick scored on the following possession after she wrapped around from behind the net and fired a shot between Walsh's legs to give Towson an 11-10 lead with 3:48 remaining.
- The Phoenix scored with 52 seconds left to level the score at 11. Neither team scored in the final seconds, which caused the game to be sent into overtime.
- Elon won the draw and scored on its first possession to defeat the Tigers 12-11 in overtime.
