Towson Women’s Lacrosse’s Comeback Falls Short against Saint Joseph’s

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team wrapped up non-conference play with a Wednesday afternoon matchup against Saint Joseph's. The Tigers (5-7, 2-2 CAA) dropped the rain-soaked contest 14-12 to the Hawks (7-5, 3-2 A-10).
 
Milana Zizakovic led the Tigers with five goals, while Katie Roszko and Lindsey Marshall each added a hat trick.

  • The Tigers won the draw control battle, 18-12.
  • The Hawks went 4-of-8 on free position attempts, while Towson went 0-of-1.

  • Saint Joseph's added two goals to restore a three-goal advantage with 6:13 left in the fourth.
  • Marshall added more one goal to earn her sixth hat trick of the season, but the Tigers fell to the Hawks 14-12.
