LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – The Towson University men's golf team heads to the outskirts of Philadelphia tomorrow to attend the Dragon Match Play Invitational hosted by Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) foe Drexel University.

TEE TIMES AND FORMAT
All eight teams participating will play 36 continuous holes on Monday. After 36 holes, the four teams with the lowest scores will advance to the championship bracket of Match Play. The next four teams will make up the consolation bracket. On Tuesday, the semifinal matches will take place in the morning with the championship matches taking place shortly after the conclusion of the morning matches. The teams that lose their morning match will not play an afternoon consolation match. Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. on both days.
THE FIELD
Drexel will welcome Lafayette, La Salle, Rhode Island, Robert Morris and St. Bonaventure for the tournament.

LAST WE SAW THEM
The Tigers are coming off of a strong performance at the Southern Invitational last week where they placed third overall after rounds of 290, 288 and 282 to finish 8-over par.
Three Tigers,
Michael Matheson,
Brad Riley and
Sky Aung, placed in the top 15 individually. Matheson was the top performer for the Black & Gold, tying for fifth with solid rounds of 71-69-71 to wrap up 2-under par. The freshman shot a collegiate career low during his second round and had the lowest par 3 average out of the entire field. Riley and Aung both carded 69's on their final round to place eighth and 12
th, respectively.
UP NEXT
The Tigers attend their final tournament before the CAA Championship later this week. Towson competes in the Rutherford Intercollegiate hosted by Penn State University on April 13 and 14.
