TOWSON, Md. – Former Towson men's basketball standout Nick Timberlake has signed with AD Galomar for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
"It's a dream come true and should be really fun with great competition. Everyone strives for the NBA, but getting to paid to play basketball is a goal for anyone who has ever picked up a basketball," Timberlake said. "Coming to Towson was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was super happy Coach Skerry took a chance on me. We made some history when I was here – both with the team and individually."
Timberlake played five seasons at Towson, earning All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) First Team honors in his last two years. He finished as the program's eighth leading scorer all-time with 1,522 points. Timberlake is the program leader in three pointers made (233) and three pointers attempted (614).
Timberlake played play nine games his freshman season before suffering an injury. He returned and earned CAA Sixth Man of the Year honors in 2019-20. The following season, Timberlake averaged 12.1 points per game to rank second on the team. In his fourth season at Towson, he helped the Tigers win the CAA regular season title and get a berth into the NIT. In his final season with the Tigers, he led the team in scoring with 17.7 points while shooting 45.5% from the floor and 41.6% from behind the arc.
AD Golmar competes in the Lisa Portuguesa de Basquetebol (LPB) in Portugal.
