MOBILE, Ala. – Towson University tight end
Carter Runyon has been selected to the Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist, announced on Wednesday.
This is the third straight season where Towson has had a player on the Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List, with
Jesus Gibbs having been on the list for the 2023 and 2024 games.
The Reese's Senior Bowl will have its 76
th annual game on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 in Mobile, Alabama. According to the Senior Bowl, last year, the game produced 110 total picks in the National Football League (NFL) Draft.
Runyon has been racking up preseason honors, including a place on the 2024 Shrine Bowl 1000. The redshirt senior was the first-ever Towson DI tight end to earn All-America honors last year, being named 2024 STATS Perform FCS Preseason All-America First Team going into this season. In his first year with Towson in 2023, the
Associated Press and STATS Perform All-American earned 43 catches for 549 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Runyon and the Tigers begin the 2024 campaign at Cincinnati on Saturday, August 31 at 2:30 p.m.
