ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Towson University swimming & diving teams host the final two home dual meets of the season this week. The Tigers host Howard on Wednesday Jan. 15, and welcome Drexel for a Coastal Athletic Association matchup on Saturday Jan. 18. Both meets begin with diving at 10:00 a.m. followed by the swimming events.
The January 18 meet against Drexel is senior day for the Black & Gold. Graduate students

Scouting the Opponents:
The Howard men's swimming and diving team are 1-2 in dual meets this season and placed second in the NJIT Invitational. The Bison won their most recent dual meet against Mount St. Mary's 169-92. The Howard women's team, coming off a second-place finish at the NEC Championships last season, is also 1-2 in dual meets with a second-place finish in the NJIT Invitational.
Drexel's men's and women's swimming and diving are both off to 4-0 starts in dual meets this season and enter Saturday's meet off a sweep over Delaware on January 11. The Dragons are the only CAA squads that remain undefeated in dual meets so far this season.
The Season Ahead:
The Towson women are coming off a fifth-place finish in the CAA Championships last season.
Shannon Parrau finished fourth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 256.15, and
Bridget Thomas finished fifth in the 1650 free, while
Laura Gaffney placed fifth in the 200 breast. Eleven newcomers join 20 returners on the 2024-2025 roster.
The men come into the new season after finishing third at the CAA Championships for the second straight season.
Sean Colson took fourth place with a Towson record 1:44.31 time in the 200 back, and
Luke Schwar finished fifth in the 100 free. Sophomore
Stephen McDonald placed fifth in the 1650 free as a freshman. Seven new arrivals join the 2024-2025 roster alongside 16 returners.
