ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Towson University men's swimming & diving team are starting off the new year with a short trip to Annapolis to face the Navy Midshipmen in a dual meet. The meet takes place January 4 at Lejeune Hall at 11:00 a.m.
Fans without a Dept. of Defense ID card must park outside of the United States Naval Academy (USNA) gates and walk through the security center. A photo ID is required for those 18 and older.
Scouting the Opponent:
The Navy men's swimming and diving team are 8-3 in dual meets including a 5-2 home record so far this season. The Midshipmen also placed first in the West Virginia Invite in November. Navy enters the 2024-2025 season following Patriot League and ECAC Championships in the 2023-2024 season.
The Season Ahead:
The Tiger men come into the new season after finishing third at the CAA Championships for the second straight season.
Sean Colson took fourth place with a Towson record 1:44.31 time in the 200 back, and
Luke Schwar finished fifth in the 100 free. Sophomore
Stephen McDonald placed fifth in the 1650 free as a freshman. Seven new arrivals join the 2024-2025 roster alongside 16 returners.
