WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Towson University volleyball team faced William & Mary on Friday evening at Kaplan Arena in its first of two Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) matchups vs. the Tribe.
Towson (16-2, 7-0 CAA) was troubled by the William & Mary (6-10, 1-4 CAA) defense in the first two sets, totaling 19 hitting errors in the two Tribe set wins. The Tigers found their footing in the final three sets and went on to complete the reverse sweep in five.

- William & Mary closed the set on a 5-3 run, with two kills and a block, to take the first set 25-19.
- An Addison Leber kill to make it 8-7 pulled the Tigers within one early in set two before four-straight points for the Tribe pushed their lead to five.
- The Black & Gold scored seven of the next nine points of the set to tie the score at 14 all.
- The teams exchanged short runs in the next part of the set, with the Tribe getting within four points of a two-set lead at 21-20.
- William & Mary went on two take four of the final five points of the set, all by way of kills, to win 25-21.

Inside the Numbers
- Leber finished with a career-high 22 kills on a .325 hitting percentage. She added four digs and two assists.
- Sarah Callender amassed 16 kills on a .333 hitting percentage in her return to Kaplan Arena. She added 21 digs to record her fifth double-double of the season.
- Sydney Stewart recorded a double-double, finishing with 13 digs and 10 assists.
