TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team will open its 2025-26 home schedule against Wilson College on Nov 11 after starting the season 1-1 at a neutral site game at CFG arena and a road game in Houston.
 
SCOUTING WILSON COLLEGE
Wilson College plays in the DIII United East conference and is located in Chambersburg, Penn. The play in the same conference as Notre Dame (Md.) who Towson plays on December 19. The Phoenix have started the season 0-2 with losses at Gettysburg (81-79) and vs Eastern Kentucky (84-77). Three players on the Phoenix are averaging at least 19 points with Jalen Pierce leading the way with 21 points while nearly averaging a double double with nine rebounds and four assists per game. Jalen Bowie and Jaylin Davis round out the players averaging double figures with Bowie averaging 19.5 points and Davis averaging 19.0 points. Last season, Wilson College went 12-15 on the season and 9-7 in conference before losing in the confrerence quarterfinals.
 
RETURNERS
Towson is one of only five schools to have a conference player of the year return to their school for the 2025-26 season in Tyler Tejada. The Tigers are also the only team in the CAA to return All-CAA players in Tejada and Dylan Williamson.
 
TRANSFERS
Towson added some key names in the portal. Jack Doumbia comes from Wright State and was used in over 28% of their possessions. Tyler Schmidt joins Towson after a year at Valparaiso where he shot .465 from the field, .382 from deep and .855 from the charity stripe. Mor Seck provides length in the lanes at 7'0" with a 7'3.5" wingspan after spending last season at Fresno State.
