TOWSON, Md. – As of today, Towson University men's basketball plans to redshirt freshmen
Jon Barton and
Brandon Holmes for the 2025-26 season.
Barton is a 6-4 guard who played last season at St. John's College High School in Washington D.C. He was named to the All-HGSL First Team and to the DCSAA Second Team. Barton was voted the HGSL Breakout Player of the Year. He helped St. John's College High School win the WCAC Championship and earned WCAC Honorable Mention honors. He has made the honor roll every quarter.
Holmes is a 6-9 forward who played at Mount Saint Joseph's last season. He is a two-time BCL champion and a MIAA A Conference Champion. Holmes has helped Mount St. Joseph's win 75 games during his time.
The Tigers continue their season on Nov. 8 at Houston. The game can be watched on ESPN+.
