TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team will face #17/#17 Kansas on Tuesday at 9 p.m. in Lawrence, Kansas. The Tigers are facing their second of two straight Big 12 teams to wrap up three Big 12 opponents faced in the non-conference slate.
 
SCOUTING KANSAS
Any conversation about KU starts with Darryn Peterson who is projected to go very early in the 2026 NBA draft. In four games played this season, he is averaging 19.2 points in 26.2 minutes. After Peterson, the Jayhawks boast one of the best rim protectors in the country in Flory Bidunga who averages 2.4 blocks per game while scoring 14.1 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game. Tre White also scores 14.1 points per game and pulls down 7.0 rebounds per game. Melvin Council Jr. leads KU in assists with 5.2 per game while scoring 13.0 points per game himself.
