TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University football team and the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) have the announced the 2026 schedule as the Tigers get ready for the next campaign.
 
Towson is set for five home games at Johnny Unitas® Stadium, including the return of The Battle for Greater Baltimore against Morgan State.  Towson will also play a full eight-game CAA schedule.  All times for the season and promotions for home games will be announced at a later date.

Towson won its final two games of the 2025 season to finish 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the CAA.  It is the sixth time in the last seven fall seasons where Towson has finished .500 or better in league play.
 
All teams who will compete in CAA Football in 2026 had their schedules released on Tuesday.
 
The 2026 season with a Thursday night game at Unitas as Towson also kicks off league play versus Maine on Aug. 27.  This is the first game between Towson and Maine since 2019.
 
Towson continues with a pair of away games against FBS opponents.  First is a short trip to Annapolis to take on Navy on Sept. 5, then on Sept. 12, Towson takes on Southeastern Conference opponent South Carolina.
 
The Tigers return home for the next chapter of The Battle for Greater Baltimore as Towson takes on Morgan State on Sept. 19.  It is a matchup of the two closest teams in FCS football, separated by 4.6 miles.
 
Towson wraps up non-conference play the next week with its first game against Delaware State since 2014, competing in Dover on Sept. 26.
 
The Black & Gold go north to resume league play to take on Monmouth on Oct. 3.  The Tigers are home the following week, taking on Stony Brook on Oct. 10.
 
A return to the Carolinas comes next week as Towson heads to Campbell on Oct. 17.  Following the bye week, the Tigers take on Hampton on Halloween (Oct. 31) at Unitas.
 
The next two games are road contests for Towson, playing at CAA newcomer Sacred Heart on Nov. 7 then at defending CAA champion Rhode Island on Nov. 14.  The final regular season game will be at home for the Tigers, battling Elon on Nov. 21.
