TOWSON, Md. – The Tigers secured an unbeaten 2025 home schedule and
Tyler Tejada scored his 1,000 career point in the 72-47 win over Sacred Heart on Monday.
Towson has now gone unbeaten at home in two of the past three calendar years, also doing it in 2023.

- Four players pulled down at least six rebounds with Jack Doumbia Jr. leading the team with seven.
- This is the second time this season that three players have scored 15 or more in the game against a DI opponent.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers were hot to start the game, jumping out to a quick five point lead before going on a 10-0 run to lead 19-4 at the 13:04 mark of the first half.
- Sacred Heart clawed back with an 8-0 run to end the first half and enter the half down four.
- Towson opened the scoring in the second half before the Pioneers rattled off another 8-0 run to jump out to a 35-33 lead.
- The Towson deficit would grow to four at 41-37 with 13:53 to go before stifling Towson defense only allowed six points over the rest of the game, ending on a 35-6 run.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Towson is now 4-0 when wearing their white uniforms.
- Towson will have its winningest calendar year in the DI era, already securing 25 wins in 2025.
- Tejada and Williamson both surpassed 1,000 career points just two games apart.
