Annapolis, Md. - The Towson University tennis team traveled to Annapolis, Md. Saturday morning to face off against the Naval Academy. The Tigers dropped the non-conference match 5-2 to the Midshipmen. Navy earned the doubles point, winning all three matches. In singles action, Kiersten Tambe and Ashira Murray picked up two wins for the Tigers.

"We didn't play well in doubles today, but we were able to compete well in singles. There were three really tight matches and we won two, led by a great comeback from Kiersten Tambe who was down a set and 4-1", said head coach Jamie Peterson.
