TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team hosted the William & Mary Tribe on Thursday night. The Tigers (20-10, 15-2 CAA) defeated the Tribe (17-13, 11-6 CAA) 88-73 to win the outright CAA regular season title for the first time in program history.
Dylan Williamson had 20 points, knocking down five triples, tying a season-high, while adding six assists.
Tyler Tejada finished with 20 points, making four three-pointers, while
Tomiwa Sulaiman had 15 points on 66.7% shooting and four rebounds

- The Tigers won the rebounding battle 44-23 tonight.
- Towson shot 65.4% from the field and 64.3% from behind the arc in the second half.

- The teams went back-and-forth exchanging baskets, then the Tribe closed out the second half with a 13-3 run to have a 44-32 lead at the break.
- William & Mary grew its advantage to 13 to open the second half, but Towson went on a 14-6 run sparked by Tomiwa Sulaiman's eight points to trail by two.
- The Tigers then scored 21 consecutive points to lead 74-55, getting eight points from Dylan Williamson and five points from Tyler Tejada.
- The Tribe made a three-pointer to end its seven-minute and 32-second drought.
- Towson scored 11 of the following 18 points to lead by 20 with 2:26 left in the second half.
- A Mandela Tarke layup sealed an 88-73 victory to win Towson its first outright CAA regular season title in program history.
