TYSONS, Va. – The Towson University baseball team faced Georgetown on day two of the DMV Classic Saturday afternoon at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va.
Through five frames, the Tigers (4-10) and Hoyas (5-9) were knotted up at two runs apiece. With no score in the next four offensive frames, the game headed to the bottom of the ninth in a tie game. The leadoff batter, Blake Schaaf, hit a walk off home run to win 3-2.

How it Happened
- Georgetown struck first in the bottom of the first inning on Caster's single to left field, scoring the run from second to go up, 1-0.
- Towson took the lead in the top of the third inning, tying the first on Nich Francuzenko's RBI single through the right side. Two batters later, Francuzenko scored on a balk to take a 2-1 lead.
- In the home half of the fifth, back-to-back walks before a double steal put runners on second and third. That allowed the tying run to score from third on a sacrifice fly to center field.
- With Kyle Emmons taking the mound for the Tigers in the bottom of the ninth, leadoff batter Blake Schaaf hit a walk off home run to win 3-2.
