LaFollette Honored as CAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week

TOWSON, Md. – Towson University punter Bryce LaFollette is the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Special Teams Player of the Week after pulling off a pair of fake punts on Saturday.

LaFollette is the second Towson player, from the Special Forces unit as dubbed by the Towson coaching staff, to be named CAA Special Teams Player of the Week this season.  Kicker Caden Williams was CAA Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 1.

Towson's redshirt junior punter executed a pair of fake punts for Towson vs. Youngstown State, one running for 19 yards and another throwing a 14-yard pass to Zakaa Brown, each converting for first down.  He also had four punts, averaging 40.7 yards per punt.

The Tigers head north to Rhode Island to begin CAA play on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. against Bryant.
