BOSTON – The Towson University volleyball team's first Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) road series took the team to the Cabot Center in Boston to face the Northeastern Huskies on Friday evening.
After winning the opening set, Towson (12-2, 3-0 CAA) squandered a 20-7 lead in the second, allowing Northeastern (5-7, 1-2 CAA) to even the score. The Tigers won sets three and four by scores of 25-22 and 25-23 to extend their winning streak to 12 straight matches.

How it Happened
- Northeastern opened the first set with a 9-2 lead. Towson scored five of the next six points to pull within three at 10-7.
- The Huskies followed that with a three-point run and took that lead to 17-11.
- The Tigers scored seven of the next nine points to pull the deficit to one at 19-18.
- Northeastern followed that with two consecutive points before Towson tied the set with three unanswered points.

- Ella Sanders recorded her fifth consecutive match with 15 or more kills, finishing with 16 on .250 hitting. She's finished with at least 15 in eight matches this season.
- Maisie Jesse finished with a season-high 31 assists.
- Sydney Stewart finished with a match-high 29 digs. She currently stands sixth all-time with 1,220 career digs.
