TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team looks to earn its fourth straight Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) win when it visits Elon (12-7, 4-2 CAA) on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. 
 
Last time out, Towson won in dramatic fashion over Drexel 59-58 with the first win this season where the Tigers trailed at the under-four media timeout, under two minutes and under one minute.

SCOUTING ELON
Towson starts a North Carolina road swing with a game against Elon. The Phoenix have the best offense in the CAA, according to KenPom, with a rating of 117.0 while Towson has the best defense in the CAA with a rating of 106.1.
Elon's high-powered offense is lead by Chandler Cuthrell, who is averaging 21.3 points per game this season while also pacing the team with 6.5 rebounds per game. Ja'Juan Carr leads in assists with 4.6 per game.
In conference games, Elon has started the same five in every game with Cuthrell, Kacper Klaczek, Randal Petus II, Carr and Isaac Harrell.
