TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team returns closes out its CAA opening home weekend with a game against Hofstra at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
 
SCOUTING HOFSTRA
Hofstra has played two CAA games so far this season, beating Campbell and Drexel. Cruz Davis is the undeniable star of the Pride. Davis averages 21.2 points per game while shooting .429 from deep. He is known as one of the best mid major players in the country, joining Towson's Tyler Tejada on the Lou Henson watch list. Davis also earned National Player of the Week honors from the US Basketball Writers Association after leading the pride to a win over Pitt. Over that week he averaged 30 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game.
