Key Situations
  • 1st Quarter: Towson started strong with Olivia Miller scoring the first shot of the game less than three minutes after the start to give the Tigers an early 1-0 lead. The Tiger's second shot came when a long pass from Stevie Schultz sent Jillian LaBar down the left sideline and into the Bryant circle before delivering a ball that deflected in off a Bulldog defender to make it 2-0 after 15 minutes.
  • 2nd Quarter: Early in the period, Olivia Thunnissen carried down the left side again and into the Bryant circle, her shot was saved but the ball came to Olivia Miller whose shot back towards goal was also saved but Thunnissen was there to tap it home to make it 3-0 Towson at the half.
  • 3rd Quarter: The Tigers kept the pressure on into the second half earning five corners and taking seven shots in the period. However, the best chance of the quarter came from the Bulldogs who earned a corner of their own midway through the period and the ensuing shot was only stopped by a sweeping defensive save from Josefina Sayal Aguirre. The stop kept the game at 3-0 entering the fourth quarter.
  • 4th Quarter: The Tigers took seven more shots in the fourth quarter with Delfina Larripa forcing saves from the Bulldog goalie in the first and final minute of the period to keep the Tigers lead at three. The Tiger defense did not allow a single shot in the quarter to see out the game for a 3-0 win.
