TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University volleyball team dropped the second of two matches this weekend against William & Mary to move to 3-3 in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play.
Towson took the first set 25-21 before dropping the next three sets, eventually losing the match 3-1. The Tigers hit .450 in the first set but could not record a hitting percentage better than .132 in the next three sets.

- Set One: After the score was tied 9-9, Towson and William & Mary went on back-to-back-to-back runs. Towson went on a 4-0 run followed by a 5-0 William & Mary run which the Tigers answered with a 3-0 run of their own to secure a two point lead that they would not relinquish.
- Set Two: Taylor Pagan recorded back-to-back aces to bring Towson to within one of the Tribe 13-12. William & Mary would distance themselves from Towson the rest of the way for the 25-19 set win.
- Set Three: Pagan opened the set with a kill but The Tribe went on a 3-0 run following that kill and remained in the lead the rest of the way, taking the set 25-21.
- Set Four: Towson jumped out to a 5-1 lead, prompting a Tribe timeout. William & Mary bounced back with a 5-0 run to take a 6-5 lead. Several runs by both teams characterized the fourth set but William & Mary had the final run, a 7-1 total, giving the Tribe a 17-12 lead before taking the set 25-17.
