TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team travels to the Jersey Shore to take on Monmouth in a key Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) game. The Tigers (14-12, 6-7 CAA) are currently 1.5 games behind the Hawks (13-12, 7-5 CAA) in the conference standings with less than three weeks remaining in the regular season.
SCOUTING MONMOUTH
Monmouth has won four of five games to move into fourth place in the CAA standings.
Jason Rivera-Torres is the stat stuffer for the Hawks – ranking in the top three in points (16.0 per game), rebound (8.2), assists (3.0), steals (2.2) and blocks (1.4). Kavion McClain made his season debut earlier this month and has scored 34 points with 11 assists in two games.
