Towson Men's Basketball Welcomes Elon to Start Final Homestand of Season

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team returns home for the final homestand in SECU Arena this season in a Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) game versus Elon. Towson and Elon are currently in a tight pack of five teams separated by one game in the CAA standings as they fight for seeding in the conference tournament.
In the first meeting on Jan. 22, Towson came away victorious 72-59 at Elon. It was the lowest scoring output for the Phoenix at the time and remains their lowest scoring game at home this season.


SCOUTING ELON
Four Elon players average double figures with Chandler Cuthrell leading the Phoenix with 20.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Ja'Juan Carr is the team's facilitator with 4.4 assists per game. Randall Pettus II tops Elon in steals with 1.5 per game. Kacper Klaczek is the leading rim protector at 1.1 blocks per game.
 
SERIES NOTES
This will be meeting 21 between Towson and Elon, all of which have come with Pat Skerry at the helm. Towson is 6-2 at home against Elon with an average game score of 75.125-65 in SECU Arena in favor of the Tigers.
