TOWSON, Md. – Towson University football assistant coach
Victor Santa Cruz has been elevated to special teams coordinator, announced by head coach
Pete Shinnick.
Santa Cruz takes over the role after the departure of Alex Krutsch. He joined the staff this year after being the head coach of Azusa Pacific from 2006-19 and JSerra Catholic High the past three seasons. He was a coordinator under Shinnick at Azusa Pacific from 2001-05 before taking over the program on Shinnick's departure for UNC Pembroke.
Along with the above move, Towson assistant coach
Britt Myers will run the whole linebacker group, previously working specifically with the inside linebackers.
In addition, several new assistant coaches/QCs have been added for the spring in preparation for the fall campaign.
