TOWSON, Md.  – The Towson University softball team played the final of its Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) series against Charleston on Saturday. Isabella Canesi's three-run homer in the 1st and a Mikaela Guy complete game allowed the Tigers to earn a 5-3 win on Senior Day to close out the regular season.

Key Stats:

How it Happened:
  • The Cougars jumped out to an early lead as a run-scoring double made it 1-0 Charleston in the top of the 1st.
  • Alyssa Myint singled to lead off the bottom of the 1st and Kaci Benton was hit by a pitch to bring up Isabella Canesi who sent one over the wall for a three-run homerun to give Towson a 3-1 lead after one.
