STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The Towson University women's lacrosse team traveled to Long Island for the 2026 Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championship, facing three-time reigning champion No. 11 Stony Brook. Making their first championship appearance in three years, the Tigers (8-11, 5-2 CAA) fell to the Seawolves (17-2, 7-0 CAA), 18-7, on Saturday.
Hannah Lewis and Elise Smigiel each recorded hat tricks to lead Towson offensively, while Luca DeMaio added a goal.
