Towson Men's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Opponents

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball team and the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) have announced the team's conference opponents for the 2026-27 season.

Teams will play an 18-game conference schedule against the other 12 league members. Each team will play six opponents in home-and-away games. The remaining six teams will play each other once. All teams will play nine home and nine away games.

Towson will play Drexel and Monmouth, its permanent opponents, home and away. The Tigers will play Hampton and Hofstra both home and away for the second straight season. UNCW and William & Mary return as home and away opponents after only playing each other once last season.

Elon, N.C. A&T and Northeastern will be home only opponents for the 2026-27 season. N.C. A&T and Northeastern come to Towson after being away only opponents last season. Elon was a home-and-away opponent last season.

Campbell, Charleston and Stony Brook will be away only opponents for the 2026-27 season. Campbell and Charleston were home only opponents last season. Towson ended the 2025-26 season at Stony Brook.

Towson plays the second toughest conference schedule based on average seed of opponents in the 2026 CAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The Tigers face an average opponent seed of 6.278. The only team that has a tougher conference schedule is Northeastern with an average opponent seed of 5.889.

Dates and times will be announced at a later date.

Towson returns six players from the 2025-26 team which made it to its fifth consecutive CAA tournament semifinal.
