TOWSON, Md. – The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) has announced the 2026-27 conference schedule. Towson University men's basketball kicks off conference play on Jan. 2. Times will be announced at a later date.

The start of the 2026-27 CAA conference schedule stands in stark contrast to the 2025-26 slate. The Tigers opened last season with three games in six days, two of which were on the road. In the first six days of the 2026-27 season, Towson only plays one game, an away contest against Campbell. No CAA team plays three games in six days to start conference play this season.

For the second consecutive season, the team that Towson plays to start the conference schedule is not on the conference slate for the rest of the year. Two of the first three opponents for the Tigers are not on the conference schedule the rest of the season.

Following the conference opener on Jan 2 at Campbell, the conference home opener is on Jan 7 against defending CAA Champions Hofstra.

The Tigers return to the road for a game on Long Island two days later against Stony Brook before returning home to face Monmouth on Jan 14. The Tigers immediately turn around to face UNCW and Charleston on the road on Jan 16 and 18, respectively. Four of the first six conference games for Towson are on the road.

After the stretch of road games, Towson's travel load reduces significantly with the next 15 days seeing three Tiger home games and one road game at Drexel, the closest conference opponent, on Jan. 28. In this stretch, NC A&T, William & Mary and Hampton come to Towson to play on Jan 21, Jan 23 and Jan 30, respectively.

Towson plays on the road the next two games at Hofstra (Feb 6) and at Monmouth (Feb 11). Following these road games, the Tigers play four of six in SECU Arena.

The end of conference season home stretch starts with a game against Northeastern on Feb 13. Two North Carolina teams make the trip to Towson with Elon (Feb 18) and UNCW (Feb 20) coming into town. The Tigers take the show on the road at William & Mary and Hampton on Feb 25 and 27, respectively, before closing out the conference schedule on March 2 against Drexel.
