Towson Men's Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

TOWSON, Md. – Towson University men's basketball today announced the 2026-27 non-conference schedule that features six home games at SECU Arena.
 
After starting with two road games against 2026 NCAA Tournament team Santa Clara (Nov. 2) and Big XII Utah (Nov. 5), Towson opens its home slate against 2026 NCAA Tournament team LIU on Nov. 9.
 
Pat Skerry's squad will then host two games in the inaugural 410 Invitational that includes Baltimore area teams competing in a four-team bracket style tournament. The Tigers will welcome Loyola on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. then two days later, SECU Arena will host both the consolation and championship games. Towson will face either America East champions UMBC or Morgan State on Nov. 14. The Tigers are 28-2 in their past 30 games against Baltimore area DI teams.
 
The Tigers will wrap up a four-game homestand with a game against James Madison on Nov. 18. This will be the 27th time in Towson history the Dukes and Tigers have met. Towson is 8-4 at home against JMU.
 
The next three games are on the road for the Tigers. On Nov. 22, Towson heads to American to play in the nation's capital before heading up to Philadelphia for the Cathedral Classic with games versus Ivy League champion Penn (Nov. 27) and Buffalo (Nov. 28).
 
December kicks off with a game against Penn State York on Dec. 2 before facing MEAC champions Howard on the road on Dec. 14. The Tigers will face George Mason in the Battle in Baltimore at CFG Bank Arena on Dec. 19.
 
The final road game of the non-conference slate sees Towson return to Orlando to face Big XII UCF for the second consecutive season on Dec. 22 before wrapping the non-conference slate against Johns Hopkins at SECU Arena on Dec. 28.
 
The Tigers non-conference schedule features five NCAA tournament teams, three conference tournament champions and two conference regular season champions.
 
Towson opens Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play at Campbell on Jan. 2.
