TOWSON, Md. – Towson University women's soccer will begin Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play against Hofstra on Sunday, Sept. 20. at 1 p.m. on the road in Hempstead, N.Y. The match can be streamed on FloCollege.

The two sides were tied for the final north division playoff spot in the CAA Standings last season, which Hofstra earned on tiebreaker. In the CAA preseason poll, Hofstra and Towson were picked to finish third and fourth, respectively, separated by one point.

The Tigers and Pride have been playing in the same conference since 1995, with a total of 33 matches between the two teams. The most recent match, which was played in Towson on Sept. 28, 2025, ended in a 1-1 draw with Hofstra scoring in the fourth minute before
Emma Levin equalized in the 61st minute. The last time the match was held on Long Island was on Sept. 29, 2024. The Pride came away with a 3-1 victory. Towson has not won in Hempstead since 1996.

Towson will have a week off before this match, having most recently played to a 1-0 loss against Penn on Sept. 13. Hofstra most recently played to a 0-0 draw against Seton Hall. The Tigers are 1-2-1 on the road this season while the Pride are 0-2-2 at home this season.

Towson's non-conference offense has been spread out with four players on two goals.
Kale'a Perry is the team points leader with five (2G, 1A). Amy Meadows leads Hofstra with three goals.
